Prohibited content
You may not use the service to create, store, send, or distribute content that:
- Is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, threatening, harassing, or hateful.
- Promotes or facilitates violence, self-harm, terrorism, or exploitation of minors.
- Infringes intellectual property or publicity rights of any person or company.
- Contains malware, ransomware, viruses, or any malicious code.
- Is deceptive, fraudulent, or designed to phish credentials or payment data.
- Promotes regulated content prohibited by carriers — sometimes referred to by carriers as the “SHAFT” categories: sex, hate, alcohol, firearms, tobacco — or cannabis, CBD, gambling, payday loans, or debt collection where prohibited.
Prohibited messaging behavior
- Sending SMS, MMS, or email to recipients without proper consent under TCPA, CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, or any other applicable law.
- Failing to honor STOP, unsubscribe, or revocation requests.
- Concealing or misrepresenting the sender’s identity.
- Sending messages from a number or domain not properly registered or authorized.
- Evading message filters, throttling, suspension, or other carrier or platform controls.
- Sending to recipients on the National Do Not Call Registry without an established business relationship.
Prohibited technical behavior
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to derive source code.
- Probing, scanning, or testing the security of the service without written authorization.
- Bypassing authentication, rate limits, or access controls.
- Scraping, crawling, or harvesting data beyond ordinary use.
- Using the service to mine cryptocurrency or run distributed compute workloads unrelated to the service.
- Interfering with other users, the underlying infrastructure, or third-party systems connected to the service.
Customer responsibilities
If you operate the platform on behalf of your own customers or end-users, you are responsible for ensuring that:
- Each recipient’s opt-in is properly captured, time-stamped, and retrievable.
- Disclosures and consent language match the messaging program you registered.
- STOP, HELP, and START are honored in your downstream workflows.
- You promptly notify us of any complaints, regulatory inquiries, or carrier escalations.
Reporting abuse
Report suspected abuse, prohibited content, or security concerns to abuse@goodlookingco.com. Vulnerability reports go to security@goodlookingco.com — see the Security page.
Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations, suspend or remove content, throttle or suspend accounts, or terminate access. For material or repeat violations, we may report to law enforcement, carriers, or affected third parties. We try to give notice when practical, but for serious violations we may act first.
