The 5 RGL categories

What we actually score

Every GBP we audit gets scored the same way — so you can compare yourself to your own profile a month from now, or to the three competitors you audit next.

01

Findable

Can Google and a local searcher actually see you? Primary category, address, phone, website, operational status — the foundational signals.

02

Believable

Do the signals convince a real prospect? Review count, star rating, and whether new reviews are coming in consistently.

03

Bookable

Every path from “found you” to “booked you.” Phone, website link, full weekly hours, messaging or booking shortcut.

04

Current

Does the profile look alive or abandoned? Recent posts, photos within the last month, and ongoing review velocity.

05

Consistent

Does the profile match the rest of your brand? GBP website must match your actual site, categories must match what you sell.

Frequently asked

  1. What is the Google Business Profile Audit?

A free 90-second audit of your Google Business Profile. We pull your real profile data from Google (categories, reviews, rating, hours, photos, website), ask 3 quick questions the API cannot answer, and score you across five RGL categories: Findable, Believable, Bookable, Current, and Consistent. The overall score is shown immediately — no email required.

  2. Is it really free? What is the catch?

The audit and the category scores are free, immediately, no email. We only ask for an email if you want the personalized 30-minute fix plan delivered. We give the tool away because the people who run it, see their weak spots, and want help going deeper hire us. That's the whole model.

  3. What does the 30-minute fix plan include?

Between 4 and 10 specific, ordered fixes calibrated to the weak spots the audit found. Each step has an estimated time (usually 1–5 minutes), a one-sentence rationale, and the category it improves. Total time is capped at 30 minutes on purpose — so the plan is actually something you sit down and do, not a document you skim and forget.

  4. How is this different from free SEO checkers?

Most free GBP checkers just run a technical crawl — do you have a category, do you have hours, the score. The RGL audit scores what actually matters for conversion: whether a real buyer would find, trust, and book you. The 30-minute fix plan is what makes it useful — every other tool stops at the score.

  5. What are the 5 RGL categories?

Findable — can Google and a local searcher even see you? (primary category, address, phone, website). Believable — will they trust what they see? (review count, rating, cadence). Bookable — can they actually get to the booking flow? (phone, site link, hours, messaging). Current — does the profile look alive or abandoned? (recent posts, photos, reviews). Consistent — does it match the rest of your brand? (site match, category match, name consistency).

  6. Do you store my business data?

We store only what you submit: the business we looked up, the score, and your email if you asked for the fix plan. We do not store Google's full Places response. You can email hello@goodlookingco.com to delete everything we have on you.
