Why SEO and AEO are now the same audit.

Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT Search, Claude, and Perplexity all run on the same underlying signals: can a machine reach your site, parse it, resolve you as a real entity, and extract a clean answer from your copy? Classic SEO was about being found. AEO is about being quoted. The fixes overlap almost completely — and most sites are missing the same 3–5 foundational signals.

The 5 RGL categories

What we actually score

Every page we audit gets scored the same way — so you can compare yourself to your own site a month from now, or to three competitors you audit next.

01

Crawlable

Can search bots and AI agents reach and parse your site at all? HTTPS, robots.txt, sitemap.xml, llms.txt, mobile viewport, canonical tags.

02

Structured

Do you carry schema.org markup engines actually quote? LocalBusiness, FAQPage, Service, AggregateRating — the biggest AEO lever.

03

Quotable

Is your copy written so an engine can extract a clean answer? Title tags, meta description, short paragraphs, question-style subheadings.

04

Cited

Can engines resolve you as a real entity? NAP visible, GBP linked, social profiles in sameAs, street address on the page.

05

Answerable

Does the page actually answer buyer questions? Enough copy, 3+ subheadings, FAQ pairs, alt text on images, About / Services links.

Frequently asked

  1. What is the Search Engine & Agent Site Readiness check?

A free, live URL audit that scores your site on how well both Google and AI answer engines (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews) can find, parse, and cite you. We fetch the URL you enter, check robots.txt / sitemap.xml / llms.txt, parse schema.org markup, and score 5 RGL categories: Crawlable, Structured, Quotable, Cited, and Answerable.

  2. Why does "AI search readiness" matter now?

Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT Search, and Perplexity now answer an estimated 30–40% of commercial queries without sending the user to a website. The difference between a business that gets quoted in those answers and one that does not is 90% structural — schema, clean answers, NAP consistency. This audit scores those exact signals.

  3. Is it really free? Do you see my data?

The audit and score are free, immediately, no email. We fetch your URL server-side, score it, and show you the result. We do not log the full HTML. We only keep what you give us — your email if you ask for the 30-minute fix plan, plus a score summary for admin visibility.

  4. What does the 30-minute fix plan include?

Between 4 and 10 specific, ordered fixes calibrated to the weak spots the audit found. Each step has an estimated time (usually 2–5 minutes), a one-sentence rationale, and the category it improves. Total time is capped at 30 minutes so you can actually do it — not skim it.

  5. What are the 5 RGL categories?

Crawlable — can bots even reach your site? (HTTPS, robots, sitemap, llms.txt, viewport, canonical). Structured — do you carry schema.org signals engines quote? (LocalBusiness, FAQPage, Service, Review). Quotable — is your copy extractable? (clean titles, short paragraphs, question-style headings). Cited — can engines resolve you as a real entity? (NAP, GBP link, sameAs, social). Answerable — does the page actually answer buyer questions? (word count, FAQs, alt text, structure).

  6. Does this work for any site?

Yes — any public URL with a normal website works. We cannot audit pages behind a login, pages that block bots with aggressive Cloudflare rules, or localhost / internal addresses. Single-page apps that render entirely in JavaScript score lower because the crawler sees the empty shell — that itself is a Crawlable signal worth fixing.
